This information sheet explains how you can easily access and export your data from our platform. LogicGate’s goal is to make data retrieval secure, comprehensive, and simple for you.

Your Data is Exportable

All your data is exportable, subject to the same access controls and security rules that apply within the web application. We ensure your data remains usable across different environments and services.

Easy Ways to Get Your Data

We offer two primary ways to extract your data: through the web application’s interface for everyday use, and through the LogicGate API for comprehensive, automated access.

1. Web Application Interface (Easy-to-Use Export)

You can export various key datasets directly through the application’s easy-to-use interfaces:

• Primary File Formats: Most exports are available in .CSV (Comma Separated Values) or .XLSX (Microsoft Excel) format.

2. Platform API (Comprehensive Data Access)

LogicGate’s API provides an alternative, flexible method for data extraction:

• Scope: Any piece of data you are authorized to access.
• Format: All data exported via the API will be in JSON format.
• Security: The API strictly enforces the same access controls as the web application.

Other Specialized Export Formats

In addition to core datasets, the RiskCloud platform supports extraction of specialized data types:

• Attachment Data: Exported as a .ZIP file containing the original attachment files.
• Visual Reports: Exported as image files.
• Single Record “Prints”: Exported as PDFs (Portable Document Format).

Data Security and Compliance

Access Control: All data extraction, whether using the web application or the API, is strictly governed by your existing access controls and authorization rules to ensure data security.
